This individual has blatantly gone against her word regarding the flexibility of her fees. I was assured by her that there was some room for negotiation of her finder's fee should we end up going over the originally agreed amount.<br> <br> We have subsequently gone far over budget due to the fact that she also misinformed me as to the real cost of transfer (she assured me that it shouldn't come to more than about R6 000 all inclusive, so you can imagine my surprise when I was billed for almost R14 000 instead).<br> <br> Upon asking her to help me to minimise the impact of this additional expense by giving me the originally discussed discount, she point-blank refused to consider any sort of negotiation, going so far as to say that she has already rounded the original figure of R370 300 down to R370 000, thereby saving me a whopping R300, and she is not prepared to discuss the matter any further.<br> <br> In addition to all of the this, the attorneys have also let me know that I've been grossly overcharged where commission is concerned (almost a full 20% when you add the auctioneer and estate agent fees together).
