Good food that has a presentation problem
Went to De Vrije Burger in Welgemoed. Simple menu. Great food. But the option to sit down brings you the food in takeaway packaging on a tray with no cutlery and one serviette per burger. The burgers are very messy to eat so the serviette basically serves as a plate on the table to catch all of the dripping sauce. No spare serviette to wipe your hands and no bathroom to go to for washing your hands. So the business problem is: It's good food at premium prices served in exactly the same way as McDonalds, KFC or Steers. The way it is served detracts from the food quality. If I wanted my food served like that, I would have gone around the corner and paid half the price. Bring it on plates with cutlery and the problem is solved.
