Fleas or bed bugs at R4,400 a night?!
We had the misfortune of staying in “The House” on a stop over on the way back from the Cape. When we woke up, my son was covered in bites - and not from mosquitoes. Under his pyjamas were lots of small red bites. I don’t know if they were from fleas or bed bugs - or that it makes a difference but really?!

We had the misfortune of staying in “The House” on a stop over on the way back from the Cape. When we woke up, my son was covered in bites - and not from mosquitoes. This degree of misrepresentation should be a crime!!
Look at the pictures online of the “house,” then look at mine. (Mail me on ***) The lights don’t work in the bathrooms or bedside lamps. The Aircon in my bedroom didn’t work. To enter, you walk past the servants quarters? The walls and floors are cracked. The plug is loose on the wall. The light fittings are full of dead insects. The blinds are broken - or office blinds, there is a braai inside (is that even legal?) exposed wires are everywhere. The floor is cracked, untreated concrete. And the punchline? I believed their pics and paid them R4,400 for one night! In all my years I have never been so disgusted!
