SITTING WITHOUT A PLACE TO LIVE!!!!
<p>Good Day,</p> <p>I have been in communication with Kevin Gie since the 13/05/2016 and a Petro Nel was cc'd in the mails the whole time, with regards to a Property that has been advertised by the De Lucia Group in Kempton Park. After I struggled to get hold of the person Kevin referred me to, I emailed him again yesterday and he advised he got hold of the relevant person and they will contact me shortly to make a appoint to view the place yesterday. We went to view the place and said to the owner we will take the place, and that I will be in communication with Kevin this morning. I emailed Kevin at 08:51 this morning to advised him that we will take the place, he read my email at 08:58 and did not reply. I phoned him at 10:00 to confirm if he did receive my mail and what is the progress off the rental contact. Then he advised me that the property has already been taken, so I told him it can’t be right as we already told the owner we will take it and I have already given notice at my current place. He was very arrogant telling me I need to speak to Petro Nel then. Spoke to her and told her the story then to my surprise she advised that this property has already been taken on the 7th of May.... Now my question to these people were.... IF THE PLACE WAS ALREADY TAKEN ON THE 7TH OF MAY WHY DID THEY MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR US TO GO AND VIEW THE PROPERTY!!!! Her pathetic answer was, she understands but they are 3 people dealing with all the properties and somewhere someone did not advise us. I truly don’t care what and who and how many people they are in the office. NOW I'M SITTING WITHOUT A HOME AND NEED TO BE OUT AND DONT HAVE A PLACE TO GO!! It’s so difficult to find a place that’s pet friendly in the area we want and in the budget we have. No I found one and now they tell me it’s taken... According to me a verbal agreement is as good as a written one. I have been phoning and emailing property agents since last week and its apparently a mission for anyone of them to come back to a person. All of them ensure me they will contact me back but then nothing!!!!! IM NOT SURE WHY I HAVE TO BEG SOMEONE TO ASSIST ME WITH FINDING ME A PROPERTY TO LIVE IN, SURELY THEY GET COMISSION ON IT....</p> <p> </p>

No rental property is secured by a verbal confirmation to rent a property. We need to receive full deposit payment, 1st month’s rent upfront, complete a credit check, employment must be confirmed, salary income and affordability confirmed before a prospective tenant will be approved for a property. Until this happens we continue to market the property. Over the years we have learnt not to stop marketing a property, unless a deposit has been paid by the tenant to secure the property. Our staff are well aware of the company policy and unfortunately Charlotte was too late with her application. When Kevin contacted her with another property option he was informed that Charlotte had already signed an agreement and committed to another property. We are gald she has found a suitable property.
