This is what de lucia group tells you after you have been asking; for just over a month for them to clean the place. The first time I looked at the place I have already payed the deposit of R13100-00 and only saw the plays after I got the key.

09 March 2019 Dear Karel Du Plessis Re: Rental – 10 Mopani Flats, 11 Mopani Street, Birchleigh We herewith confirm the following: 1 You viewed the property prior to entering into a lease agreement with the owner; 2 You entered into a lease agreement and made no mention of suspensive conditions you require to be met prior to occupation; 3 You made payment of the rental and deposit on 30 January 2018; 4 The rental for February 2018 was duly paid to the owner by our offices, being the duly appointed rental agent, with the deposit being retained on the Trust Account of De Lucia Properties; 5 You collected the keys on 2 February 2018, which constituted beneficial occupation being provided to you; 6 After occupation was provided to you, you requested our offices to demand certain actions from the owner such as further cleaning etc., which was not a condition to your lease; 7 Despite the further cleaning of the unit, you refrained from moving into the unit; 8 To date, you have not provided your written cancellation of the agreement and therefore still bound by the terms of the agreement entered into. As duly appointed rental agent, we confirm that your deposit held will be utilised for the March 2018 rental, and should an alternative tenant not be secured, rental for April will be claimed from you.
