Do not eat here.

<p>As a family tradition, my mother, gf and myself try eating at a new place once a month. So we thought we'd give De Kelder a try... big mistake, I'm not going to go into details so heres a summary. No one to greet us at the door, ordered bacon w****d poppers as a starter, waited just over 30 minutes for them, got normal poppers....ordered mains, waited an hour, got mains. now some details. During the extremely lengthy waits we saw no waiter, we weren't offered refills for our drinks, nothing... now to the mains, we ordered a fillet, which was more like mush with sinue, no flavour, ordered a "De Kelder steak special, had no taste, both steaks came with ice cold ships. The only thing worth eating/drink were the g****tisers. the rest was a complete waste. We only got real service after I went to complain... then the manager had the audacity to say, "I'm sorry about the bad service, I hope you come back again so we can make it up to you". And on top of it all, I wake up with food poisoning... so we go and spend R500+ to get bad service horrible food and food poisoning... For a first impression, or even a last impression, I'll never go back, and I suggest, unless you want the above to happen to you, don't bother visiting this hell hole.</p>
