******* - beware

I have been visiting the De Deur flea market and auction for years now, and yes, in the flea market ( where each stall is manned by individual owners) there is really great bargains. How-ever DO NOT bid in the Non-Reserved action, as the items is all broken and no one ( not the owner of the items or the flea market employees) will stand behind the products. They promise items that is working, just to find out it is not. I bought a Iron there over this weekend and as I burnt my fingers before, I wanted to ensure it is working before leaving - which it was not ( and not just mine, but all 20 of the irons on auction). When I and another buyer confronted the auctioneer - He said " It is a non reserved auction, you should have known to test the stuff before buying". - Which would be a logistical nightmare if people were to go about picking up stuff to go test it around the corner ( aren't they afraid of people *****ing the stuff?) We then went to the admin office to see if we can get this resolved, where the Administrator treated us like she was vying for a spot on HARDCORE PAWN, by treating us like we dogs. I pointed out to her that we were here talking, and that she should not be so rude. She did not stop her rudeness, but told us we should not buy at the action. I believe that the auction and the seller at the Non reserved auction is close friend as these are the same stuff on auction week after week, so in stead of looking out for the buyers, they are looking after their own pockets. I have always told people how great the flea market is, but from now on I will propagate against people going there or buying there.
