NEVER use DEBRUYN RACING,Commisioner st,Boksburg.

<p>I wanted a modification done to a car of mine.I consulted with Jan de Bruyn of de Bruyn Racing in Boksburg.He assured me that he was the man for the job,and the price seemed fair.He was very sweet talking and convincing,so I agreed to take my car to him for a turbo conversion.Unfortunately I was impulsive,and never received a quote in writing.That was in May 2014.50% deposit paid up front.This job should not have taken no more than 6 months.After about six months,I paid him a visit to check on progress and found that the car had only been stripped.To cut a very long and stressfull story short,I ended up getting my car back in January,2017.Thats right,two years and 8 months later.The quality of the work was shoddy and rushed to say the least!!I had such a bad experience with them,that I actually sold the car at a huge loss,just to forget the whole ordeal,and I had lost interest.Countless phone calls and empty promises is what I endured during this time.Everytime i went into his shop to check on the progress of my car,he was busy on another car,that came in after mine.His workshop is so congested with cars that you can hardly move in there.In other words,he just takes on far more work than he can handle.I think he relies on all the 50% upfront deposits,then the long wait begins.I have recently spoken to some other people who have also had the same and worse experiences there.I checked on hellopeter before using de bruyn,and there were neither complaints nor compliments.This is why I used him.There was another company that I thought of using,but did not due to complaints on hellopeter.So because no-one has complained about debruyn racing in the past,I got *****ed by his fly by night operation.If you want to save yourself untold stress and aggrevation,NEVER,use the services of debruyn racing.You have been warned!!!</p>
