False advertising

They offer a "special" worth R275 for a two course meal amd a bottle of wine, stating it is per couple, which initally looks too good to be true. But when you get the bill, it is per person. Worst thing is, I asked the waiter beforehand specifically to make sure what the case is, and the manager afterwards made me feel like a total idiot for having questions about the bill, since it was completely different to what we confirmed beforehand. The special is ambiguously worded, so that customers may very easily misunderstand, and then it is easy for them to afterwards say "well you had the food, you have to pay for it". I'll never go back there again and will also advise anybody to make sure what they are letting themselves into. I have never been treated this way in a restaurant before. And I always make sure I treat waiters and hospitality staff well in these difficult times, so it was very sad for me.
