garnashee and no contact

i just had a garnashee order of over 2800 put on my salary from this company as they are with another company called smart cash finance. they dont attempt to call or make arrangements just do as they please. i would like some advice on how to take the matter further as the owner o smart cash threatened me and i have messages to prove it
