DC transport, located at Makro Montague Gardens

Hi everyone. Just a quick review on a recent experience. My wife and I recently purchased a pool table from Makro Montague Gardens. The staff was helpful enough in sorting us out and we were told it would take 3-4 weeks as we ordered a custom finish on our table. The issue is that after that, their service went completely down the drain. If I didn’t call myself, then who knows when they would have let me know that the items I ordered are in store. Thankfully I had a direct line (phone number) and didn’t have to ‘speak’ to a computer and follow prompts, pressing numbers continuously to try and speak to an actual person. None the less I was still messed around. Promises of callbacks were not followed through. If I didn’t hound them myself then I wouldn’t have known what was going on and when they would deliver. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all the staff, the initial person that helped us order the table was amazing. Unfortunately when I asked to speak to him, he didn’t work in that area anymore. I was only ****ed because I made it very clear that they are holding me up. Who were awesome though, was DC Transport who does the deliveries for Makro Montague Gardens. I spoke to a gentleman, Tyrone, who was very understanding and extremely accommodating. They were even prepared to deliver after hours as no one was home during their regular delivery times. I can understand they deal with irate customers all, but I must say their service was 10/10. He even made the effort to call me to confirm everything was ok. BIG UPS DC Transport. Thank you D.R. James
