Decking

I required a new pool decking at my house and signed up with a private company called DC Solutions & Maintenance. I stipulated the name of the knot free high quality wood to be used and paid him a very high deposit for the wood and job. He, the owner of the company, dropped off inexperienced workers with faulty tools, showed them what to do and left them on their own to work. The decking wood was delivered and I pointed it out to him that it was the wrong wood, full of knots and a lot cheaper. He and his forman assured me that it was ok. Job eventually completed and immediately wanted the balance of his money in order to pay his workers. My wife and I refused and pointed the disgusting workmanship and wrong wood laid down and demanded he pull it all up and re-do the whole thing again with the correct wood which I had paid him for. After long delays and excuses he came and dropped off another team of amateur carpenters, the foreman admitting that this was his first decking job. Wood arrived still the incorrect type again but I finally accepted it as my wife and I wanted the job completed. We were requested not to comments on the work until it was completed which we did. Again faulty tools and I had to assist again with mine. Job complete and the balance of his payment wanted. A much better decking than the first, but with still some knots, and a horrible finish. Nobody in their right mind would accept the work as being well done. He agreed to come back and do the repairs, but after stalling again with excuses, I finally told him not to bother and I would use the balance of his money to hire and pay someone else to come and rectify all the bad workmanship as well as remove all the rubble which was origionally part of his deal. Always full of excuses and lies. and I would not recommend him to anyone.
