DBM Spaces fails to refund rental deposit

Our business was the first tenant to move into the co-working offices of BDM Spaces in 2019. After a little more than a year, we moved out. We found the co-working space to be poorly administered and unresponsive to the needs of tenants.

We paid a substnatial deposit when me moved in, and now two months after our departure, this has not been refunded despite several assurances from the MD and financial manager of the company that it would be. We have now taken on further cost by issuing a letter of legal demand.

I warn other would be tenants to stay away from this business, and rather to look for co-working spaces that have good operational systems in place and that are owned and operated by honest folk.
