BEWARE!!! DBK Guest House in Cape Town are SHADY ******. FALSE ADVERTSING!!!!

BEWARE of the DBK Guest House in Cape Town, the woman operating this house is a *****. She goes by the name of Lady B. The location of the house is different from the location advertised on booking.com she works with her brother who is a driver and they scheme to make money from people. They falsely advertise the property to have certain facilities which they don't have in place and when you get there they will force you to not leave the house. I arrived late Saturday night from the airport having made my booking in the morning i called the guesthouse and Lady B answered to advise she will cater transport services from airport for me without cost, she said to send me details of the driver and she didnt, she cut the call in a rush and said to ge back to me and she didnt. When i tried calling her she wasnt answering. I proceeded with my travels and arrived at airport. her driver Danny called to say he got my numbers from her and collected me, he said its a family business and he helps here and there with transporting people. I was shaken and scared as I was taking my chances and when i tried calling Lady B wasnt answering. we proceeded to travel to the guest house I switched on my gps to check he driver was going the right way. everytime gps prompted driver to turn he didnt turn and i stared getting scared as the ETA off arrival was increasing n my phone was rerouting as we were not going the same direction. As a young woman in SA travelling with a foreigner late at nigh i was very scared, the driver kept saying he knows where we going. when we arrived at the house in some ***** street my gps reads we still need to travel further to get to the guest house i was shaken as the driver asked me to get out of the car. I told him I dont think its the place and begged he drives to the point of my location which i found on the internet. He drove off and we entered into a ***** side of Behar in Bellville he even said this place is not safe and drove back to the property. he then contacted Lady B who answered his phone and she tried to convince to trust him and drive with him. When we got at he house i found there was no COVID regulations in place, the lady who received me was not wearing a mask, there was no hand sanitiser, they didnt check for temperature. I was very uncomfortable to even find the room I was to sleep in didnt have a room key and they said Lady B is not there she left with all the keys. The DSTV was offline and said to have cut off as they didnt pay for it. When i called Lady B who eventually took my call, I expressed my frustration and concerns and she said I can go ahead to cancel but the booking.com will refund me. She also attempted to force i stay one night and see what happens the next day. the wo ladies who were working or staying there were also pushing I sleep there. I was scared for my life and didnt trust them and they kept speaking in their foreign language and I didnt know what to do. so I immediately cancelled the booking, and used monies i didnt have to make another booking. Before I left the driver said I must pay him R200 for fuel that is what he charges for 3.4km from airport to get to the house. I told him i was never told of this i was told i would get a driver with no charge, I further explained that i couldve taken a taxify from airport which was going to charge me R51 as I checked on this. the driver then said its ok. To my surprise the next day, I reported the incident to booking.com and they sent the owner Lady b an email to confirm my refund, she sent me a watsapp with threats and bribery. She called me to say I must write a good review so that she can release my money. When I told her that I will not write a review she said she will pay my money back. Then she didnt send the confirmation to booking.com the next day I am still waiting for my money and she send a watsapp to say she wants to deduct the fuel money of R350 for her driver. Can somebody please tell me how this is fair or correct. She is a ***** and is very rude with no customer service and to date I am still waiting for my money. Her driver called me the next day to ask where i was and if I need help to move around, I disclosed my whereabouts and he then said he wants to see me and hangout for the day I was feeling very scared and worried, I said its not possible and I cut the call. Lady B calls me early this morning to say I made her brother drive all the way to Camps Bay and for this sh will further deduct my money for cancelling the booking. Please tell me what kind of animals im dealing with here, how do i get punished for rejecting a person and what does my communication with her brother have to do with the refund for a falsely advertised property which wasnt in a safe condition for me to stay in. Please guys BEWARE of DBK Guest house in Cape town they are ****** and shady people full of tricks you will never get your money back when dealing with disappointments from them!!!
