Consider DBC Back and Neck before you consider surgery

In 2021 I developed serious neck pain. My doctor referred me to a surgeon, who injected cortisone between the vertebrae, while I was under anaesthetic. My medical aid flagged the procedure and sent me a letter, referring me to DBC. The medical aid informed me that should I require a neck operation after I have followed the DBC programme, they would fully pay for the procedure. Should I not follow the programme, there would be a substantial co-payment.

I went to the DBC centre in Sasolburg and completed their programme. And boy, what a wise decision it was. Now, 4 years later, I still have no neck pain, and there was no need for any invasive surgery.
