Appalling Service

We contacted this company and received a quotation for a number of home improvements, which included laying a concrete slab, plumbing to replace broken drain pipe and some electrical work etc. The work which was done was completed to a good standard. However, this was over a number of days and the contractors never turned up when they said they would and they did not always let us know when then were coming. The weather was sometimes a factor for this. Some other jobs were partly done and we were promised that they would return to finish all of the outstanding work on one day. Despite phone calls and e-mails to the company, they have never either responded or contacted us again to come and complete the work. We paid the company a 50% deposit and are unsure if this was under or over the amount for the work completed.<br> <br> After the work started, we requested at least twice a revised quotation as additional and/or lesser items on the original quotation were requested. We never received the new quote.<br> <br> From this same company we were recommended/introduced to a man to build some new cupboards whose service has also been appalling. I will write a separate report about this individual.
