Won't be using Daytrip again - cheaper to use local taxi company

Alerting South African tourists... Daytrip is a global long distance taxi service and I booked them to get to a location in Spain to do a Kayaking treat with my kids. I had stipulated a drop off location on one beach, but in the car on the way there, I told the driver that the beach he needed to drop me at had changed and he said he knew the new location. He still dropped us at the wrong beach so missed our connection and were not able to do our tour which cost Euro 120.

We had travelled that day for an expensive activity. You expect local drivers to have local knowledge and take you to the correct location. Daytrip wasted my time and money and refused a partial refund for the inconvenience they caused me and my family. There is nothing special about Daytrip - they simply book local taxi companies who can be engaged directly for less money after a quick google.

If you have engaged a Daytrip driver to give you a guided tour (which they offer on their website) it is also worth checking that he has a guiding licence as it is ******* to guide tourists without one in most countries. I won't be using this company again.
