False advertising by Day1 Health

I am so frustrated, disappointed and really upset by the service I am getting from Day1 Health and I was referred by a friend who recommended it as one of the best, but to my surprise it is the worst, I took a comprehensive cover for my mother, we just discovered that her other eye doesn't see at all and will need a cataract removal I phoned them a while ago informing them about her condition they said I can take her to a specialist but told me to pay from my pocket and claim back from them because specialists charge private rates ok fair enough, I took money from my pocket and paid R800 and now the doctor confirmed that she indeed needs a surgery, they called Day1 Health for authorization and informed them about her condition they told the doctors office assistant that they won't cover because the procedure takes less than 24hrs, I found this very weird and disturbing so I phoned them to enquire, They informed me that they do not cover her for specialists(meaning I won't even get an opportunity to claim back from them like they said when I enquired) because the cover I took is a comprehensive cover and not an executive plan nor platinum plan, yoh I am really depressed and to think that she doesn't even go to the doctor every now and then I am really disappointed.
