Day 1 Health - STAY AWAY!

If I could give this place a negative rating I would! Ok so signed up with them, paid 2 months. Then got sick and had to go to doctor, had to pay as the *********** representative they had on the phone couldn't understand that my cool off period was over. So I contact them and am given a re-imbur*****t form which I fill out. Over a week passes and I don't have my money back and was unable to afford my meds so had to suffer through. Useless from top to bottom! I have today asked that they cancel my policy and send me email confirmation of such - Will wait and see. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE *******. 2 Months Paid R2400ish + R300 Doctors Fee = R2700 out of Pocket and still feeling like death!

Just an update, so still not recieved any sort of correspondence from them. I have now emailed again so as to have a record of me cancelling. I am seriously shocked at the lack of care or attention given here.

Reimbur*****t has now been processed but that in no way makes up for the fact that I was unable to get medications and the suffering involved there. It was a network doctor and my cooloff was over, was then told that I am not covered.

With regards to hiding behind the legalities sure, well done I am sure your lawyers are proud. But on a basic service delivery and human compassion side of things your company has a lot to learn before I would reconsider doing business with you.

Good luck for the future and I do hope that standards improve for the sake of other clients.
