DAY 1 HEALTH IS THE PITS. DO NOT JOIN THEM EVER. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIIFE.

I joined Day 1 Health in March 2020 but it was only processed in April 2020. I chose the Value Plus Plan and what attracted me to this plan was being able to access radiology services. According to the plan, I pay for x-rays and such and claim the money back. I went for my 1st X-ray and sent through my claim of R739 to no avail. The account has since been declared with attorneys. The helpline is often unanswered, If you manage to go through, you are kept holding until the call is dropped. I doubt emails are ever responded to as I have sent a few, with no response.

So I cancelled the plan in March and every month since then Day 1 Health attempts to deduct from my account. I have stopped the debit order and I was advised by my bank to call them and ask them to cancel the debit order, which I did, called again, calls rejected, emails remain unanswered. It's really frustrating because unfortunately the bank charges me for it, as according to the bank Day 1 Health basically re-issue a new debit order onto my account. Therefore even if I stop it, it will go through. Once again the debit shows as upcoming payments on my account. I gave them a star but they really don't deserve it.
