Worse courier services company ever!!!

I received a notification on Wednesday, 18 January 2023 that an order ready for delivery from DPD Laser /Dawn Wing (or whatever they prefer to call themselves) and I had someone at home to receive the parcel, but no delivery was made and no reason was communication was sent to indicate non-delivery and reasons thereof.

On Thursday, 19 January 2023 I received a notification that the parcel plus another one were out for delivery. Since there was no one at home on the day, I clicked on the link and requested that it be left with security. Later in the afternoon, I received a notification that it couldn't be delivered and was provided with the contact number.

Today, 20 January 2023 early in morning, I clicked on the link and requested to be called. When I got to the office around 10am I decided to call the using the contact number provided to me. I explained to the agent what happened and she informed me that the driver had called me but I never answered. I told her that I sit in meetings for most part of the day hence I chose the option of having the parcel left at Security. I did not see the reason why the driver had to call me whereas the instruction was to leave the stuff with Security. I then asked if it would be possible to rather collect it myself because the distance from my place to DPD in Meadowdale is 20km and she told me that unfortunately the parcel has been sent out for delivery already. I was surprised because I had not received a communication for today's delivery. I then asked her to capture the instruction to leave it with Security on her side and she said she did. Afterwards I received a notification indicating that the order was out for delivery. I also gave them an alternative number to call if need be. I called again at 4pm to tell them there was no delivery and I was told the driver is still going to do deliveries until 7pm so I should expect my parcels. I got home at 6:30 and there were no parcels at Security

It's been 3 days since my order has been out for delivery but hasn't reached me. I needed these things for Monday morning hence I ordered them early in the week. It seems I won't have them by then.

This is the worst courier services company ever!
