No information, no thanks Dawn wings

Sent a 1.7kg package to the UK. The price was not bad, but the rest was a terrible experience. The parcel was sent 05/02/2019 and promised that it would reach the delivery address in 3 days... Meaning it would arrive 08/02/2019, it is now 13/02/2019 and it has still not reached its delivery address. This is also a gift for my brother and his new born baby, so I made sure it would be there in time and that all the costs had been covered from my side. This was not the case, not only is it very late, I payed a lot of money and then it was held at customs and my brother had to pay again. I made it very clear that all amount needed I will pay, however they did not let me know it was held at customs or that there was an amount needed to release it. I had to contact them after 3 days of nothing changing on the wed tracking and then only finding out after my brother had been contacted and the amount paid by him, for his gift??? the web tracking page is useless and extremely miss leading with what little info they do give. The person at Dawn wings that assisted, is not very helpful and give as little info as possible. So this gift has now been payed for by the recipient of the gift, still not delivered 8 days now, when 3 days was promised, and the web tracking is of no use and staff are not helpful and I had to run after them for info. All in all this has been a terrible experience
