No feedback from Dawn Wing
On 12 November 2018 I sent a parcel to our children & grandchild in Johannesburg, from George. I used the PostLink opposite the PnP in Knysna Road, George. The parcel did not seem to arrive (the son-in-law works from home = he is there all the time) so I started following up. The Track & Trace could not find the parcel after leaving George! It comes out that PostLink use Dawn Wing. The waybill number I had, was useless and there was a mission to find the waybill number, not that it helped. By a Friday afternoon, latish, it was "found" and instead of delivering Dawn Wing asked to deliver on Monday. By Monday, it was gone again. More drama as the parcel is sought. At some point it was found in the "problem cage". What was the problem? The sender and receiver printed labels were still on it. It was still sealed. I'd have thought that if a parcel goes "missing" you'd look in the OBVIOUS places, like the "problem cage". I say this as one who has some not considerable experience in logistics. Any case. The parcel was delivered, if somewhat shaken up. I had a discussion with Dawn Wing and told them that I wanted to know the outcome of the enquiry (this not being the first bad experience with Dawn Wing). They have never reverted to me and now that I am following up, no feedback and it seems that the people involved may have died/left as no-ne has a clue of what I am talking about. Previously, the parcels were not delivered when sent for delivery as "there was no-one there". See, above, where my son-in-law works. At home. He does not go out. So, blatant lies.
