Major *******. *****ing money

A friend of mine in the UK sent me a gift. He paid for a full delivery. Then today I receive an email to say I must pay more than double in fees than what my friend paid to send it to me before they will deliver. If I don't pay there will be an additional R1500 fine. Courier fees were paid in full by my friend yet dawn wing wants me to pay more. It is a gift that was sent to me. Now I have to pay over R1200 to receive my gift. Dawn wing is a disgrace. Please explain to me why I must pay to receive a gift. To top it off... I call to ask what the story is and get told by the lady on the phone. "This is not my problem" what kind of service is that.
