Lockdown - convenient excuse for Dawn Wing Couriers?

I ordered veterinary medicine from a company in Pretoria on Tuesday 24/3/2020. I was assured that it would be delivered on Friday 27/3/2020.

When it was not delivered on Friday, I contacted the courier service and their excuse was it was not marked as an essential item. I forwarded the email to the company and they sent all the required information to the couriers and asked them to please let them know if they needed anything else for the delivery to take place.

Monday came and went and I phoned the courier company again to find out what the status of my parcel was. Nothing has changed and it was not scheduled to be delivered anytime soon.

Not the first time I've been let down by this couriers - will not recommend them to anybody!
