Empty Promises

A parcel was sent to me from the UK. I received notification that Dawn wing was the contracted courier in south africa and that I needed to fill in forms and make payment before it would be cleared at customs. I did this immediately to ensure we would receive our parcel on time. We have delayed our paid holiday by 4 days and when calling today to confirm that we will be receiving it today, i was told the area code was wrong and they can only possibly send it tomorrow. This will now be 5 days wasted and the parcel is a christmas present for my son. I have spoken to numerous people who could have mentioned there was a problem. Instead, all i got was emails stating that payment was never received, even though i had received a mail from Mohammed stating it was received and that we would receive it within 48-72 hours. But monday definitely. Today is monday and now i am told possibly only tomorrow. I want my parcel by close of business today. I have this in writing and will take this matter further should dawn wing not comply with their promise made to me
