Empty parcel

Can someone at Dawn Wing kindly explain how an empty box was delivered to me? One that was tampered with and sealed with a Dawn wing tape. I called the driver back to let him know that the box was empty, and he promised to pick up. Did he? No. I am so hurt because those were limited edition Marvel Adidas sneakers for my 5 year old.
