Delivery in the middle of the day when at work and no notification of time

I ordered from ebucks black friday on 28 November, and it said estimated delivery would be 03 December. Order was dispatched on the 29th to the courier, Dawn Wing, and it says I will be notified when delivery will take place. I did not receive any communication on the 3rd, but on the 4th I received a call from security at 11:28 that there was a delivery. I told them I'm at work and I was told I would receive communication as to the time I would receive delivery but nonetheless I am on my way. I rushed out of work without permission, only to find they had left, and didn't leave the parcel with the security. I messaged the driver on the communication platform and he didn't respond. I called dawn wing and they said his phone is off, they can't get hold of him. I paid R250 for delivery. I bill my time to clients, who is going to pay me for my time. Who is going to pay for my petrol driving around. This is unacceptable to just show up in the middle of the day without any notification of a time, and then to just leave after I have said I am on my way.
