<p>I am at a loss for words. </p> <p>I sent a mail to (who I believe are reputable courier companies) in SA requesting a quote to collect a parcel from Sandton and deliver this parcel to Pretoria (46km) at the Embassy of Vietnam. When I say "Parcel", I am merely referring to C4 envelope (A4 paper size) with documents which probably weight 50g.</p> <p>First Duewaynne Steenbok sends me a quotation because they clearly don't read the contents of my email correctly and quotes me R 1 634,32. I then already notice something wasn't right and told them they're quoting me incorrectly. He then calls me to apologise and said he thought it was for an overseas delivery. Fair enough, we all make mistakes, he forwards my details on to a lady who needs to quote me for domestic delivery. </p> <p>Octavia Morris sends me a quotation about an hour later for R 539,95? Are they delivering my package with a Lamborghini and do I at least get a lift? </p> <p>I didn't have any special same day or next day delivery requests, I said as long as it is within the same week I will be happy. The most expensive quote I got prior to this was from DHL at R 286,63. Dawn Wing is charging almost double the amount?? You guys need to either look at your staff or look at your pricing but I cannot justify paying that for such a simple delivery. Convenience is a nice factor, but at what cost? Your service is definitely not worth that amount. </p> <p>Good luck!</p>
