Dawn wing ******* service

I received a gift (cycling jersy) from my sister in law, who resides in the U. K. The gift was couriered to South Africa. Mohammed Toffie from Dawn wing made contact, informing me that theee are import duties (which is understandable), but the amount claimed by Dawn wing is WAY more than ridiculous. A person is entitled to 2xgifts per year, exempted from import taxes up to the amount of R1400. The jersey value is approximately R900. The amount that Dawn wing charge is R1900 for duties ect. There is no proper explanation from Dawn wing couriers as to why they charge the said amount. I attempted numerously to make contact also with Lavelle van Wyhe, who handles customer services, but to no avail. This is absolute ******* company.
