Dawn wing bad customer service and emotionally promises

Horrible horrible horrible. Prepare to read an essay. I was due to receive a package yesterday. As soon as I received the SMS that it will be delivered today I phoned Dawn wing and told them that I work night shifts if they could please maybe deliver before 3pm. Lerato in customer services took the reference number and said she'll phone me back twice. After two hours I phoned back and spoke to someone in the tracking department who called the driver and told me there was a delay but they are entering my area soon for deliveries he will ask him to deliver for me before 3 pm. So 3 pm came and nothing. I phoned back and spoke to a lady who said she will make arrangements for them to deliver today before 3pm. I received no SMS today and have been phoning every single number I can find to find out. I got the Pretoria duty Managers number that just rings and rings. I managed to get through to the cape Town branch and they told me that my delivery shows failed around 7pm last night due to contact not available. Huge difference between 3pm and 7 hey?? And shows nothing that it is due for delivery today. I am so disappointed. What is with all these empty promises. Bad bad bad customer service. Good customer service is under promising and over delivering. I have clients of my own waiting for their stuff. We rely on these deliveries. Dawn wing you not only make yourself look bad but you are costing us business too. I do understand that sometimes there are delays and you cannot cater to everyone wanting their stuff at different times but don't lie and make empty promises to customers. Train your staff on proper professional customer service
