Be wary of using Dave Miller Plumbers otherwise do a thorough inspection on completion

Last Monday saw water marks on the ceiling and checked it out. Was unlikely the geyser as there was no water in the drip tray. Assumed it was a pipe and the contractor on my property agreed. Called Std Insurance & got a call from Dave Miller Plumbers. Was very clear that the roof and pipes had been insulated & the plumber had to cut the cable ties. She apparently didn't hear me as she told me that it was law that the pipes had to be covered & rattled off prices & that it wouldn't be covered by insurance. The plumber took photos & spoke to his office & I said that I had declined the ceiling board be replaced & would paint it myself. Tiles had to be removed & I gave him cable ties. After they left I went into the roof through the trap door to ensure that the aerolite was on the trap door & to have a look & was shocked that pipes were visible & aerolite in the area he worked was in a mess. I also noticed that there was now further damage to the ceiling board & it appeared that he stepped on it. I took photos & contacted the office & still waiting for them to send theirs as the plumber denied all my accusations. Reading the other complaints on Hello Peter, I do hope Std Ins take customer feedback seriously because it is atrocious what they did in my roof & it is a guarantee that the majority don't do a thorough after inspection. People spend a lot money insulating their ceilings then companies who clearly have no disregard for anything or self respect destroy this. The one guy actually had the audacity to complain about the insulation on the pipes which made it difficult to find the leak, so it makes one wonder just how well they insulate the pipes.
