Dave Alston **** about the bike being resprayed

I saw an advert for a 2014 vespa 300 gts for 90k for sale and went to view the bike. On inspection I noticed a scratch on the front fender of the bike and said I would take it once that was repair and also paid a deposit I also take pictures of the bike.<br> <br> I received the bike 2 weeks later on receiving the bike I just checked the fender and did not do a full inspection again as I did not expect anything to have happened. I parked the bike the my garage and left it there for afew days. I then went to fill the bike with petrol and spilt some on the matt paint job. The petrol mark would not come off despite cleaning it right away.<br> <br> I took the bike to vespa and they said to me it looks like its bee resprayed. they also pointed out the damage to the back light. On further inspection there was another scratch and you could see the bike had been touched up.<br> <br> I sent an emailed to Dave with the pictures and basically got told that he had only resprayed the other side(this after been told it had never been resprayed) and that I didn't buy a new bike. To have the bike repaired properly by vespa is 8k and these guys choose to be krooks.
