DataCompany.co.za possible spam-****

27-09-2022 : I received an unsolicited email from Nick Coetzee, of DataCompany.co.za, proclaiming that they; - have recently purchased DataCompany.co.za - can supply POPI compliant data to SA - have made the database available to the public on their website at an extremely reduced price Email ID ; e9bb34 The website does indeed exist. They have a Support email address, a cellphone contact number and a chat box. I initiated a chat and got no response. I called the cellphone number and got a standard Vodacom voice-message. I do not wish to send them an email from my email system, as this would confirm that it is active to a spam-bot. I specifically wish to have a full copy of my personal details, but they seem not to be responsive. I would be cautious in responding to this company, until more is known.
