Outstanding payment for Goldings

<p>As a member of GEMS medical aid. My daughter had an injury of spine,what happen the hospital couldn't discharge her without a brase to the total amount of R8 6934.10 . GEMS approved for Goldings Orthopaedic Centre (Sercive Provider for brase) to reasile the brase in January 2017.</p> <p>The surprising part is that GEMS paid only R2000.00 to the service provider,of which I was not informed about the arrangement of payment . On the 1 August 2017(after I receive a letter intention To Take Legal Proceeding For an Outstanding Payment of R6 934.10),I called GEMS (Ref for the call MH ********** 5) to verify if I was notified and e-mail the letter confirming the payment arragemnet that GEMS will pay the service provider R2000.00 and I will have to pay the remaining amount,the answer was no they only send the letter to the provider only and that it is not their problem if the provider did'nt inform me. I ask how are we going to resolve this problem,the answer was sorry you have to pay the remaining balance. I requested that ,GEMS must e-mail me the letter confirming that , I was not informed about the payment arragemnet and I requested to speak to the team leader , but I was told that the team leader will e-mail the letter. Today is the 8 August 2017 I've receive nothing from GEMS. </p> <p>I don't think this is a fair treatment from GEMS, not to be informed about payment arragemnet and receive threating letter from the provider. If GEMS informed me before,I will make a plan of paying the provider. </p> <p>My question is,how am I going to raise R6 934,10,within 7 days.</p>
