MOVING DAY FROM HELL

We appointed the company to move us in Pietermaritzburg between suburbs. We had been impressed by their website and thought they were professional but charged much less than Biddulphs whom we have always used when moving. The crew arrived at 09h30 an old the truck arrived 7 hours late at after 17h00 when instead of between 09h00 and 10h00. Our furniture was not handled properly and the crew was very rude when my husband addressed this even going to the extent of making racial remarks. Our new furniture was put outside against the fence and on the soil uncovered and our fridge was dented. The packing of the kitchen items resulted in dented bread bins and sugar/tea canisters and flask. They never even asked but opened and unpacked the fridge items,packed them in boxes and left them in the sun till after 17h00. Fridge items melted and we had to throw out a lot of food. No order whatsoever, boxes already packed and marked by ourselves, sealed and left in the bedroom were remarked by them which ended up in a lot of confusion during unpacking. We have been made to follow tedious process to claim for the damages with communications via whats up by management. Still waiting for response.
