WORST EVER - APART FROM OVERCHARGING AND LIES, TRUSTING THEM COULD HARM YOU AND THE LIVES OF YOUR FAMILY - READ THE CONTENT OF MY POST TO FIND OUT

The worst company to deal with. I bought a Mini Cooper S for my daughter which had 86 000kms when purchased and was perfectly fine but to be safe took the car to them and told them to do a major service and diagnostic check on it for good order as I did not want my daughter getting stuck anywhere. Sadly it is only once the car had been touched by them that all sorts of problems started. They are ***** and are probably skilled at cheating people but definitely not at delivering professional and/or real service. To explain: within a 2 month window, I spent on repairs with them approximately 70% of the value of what I purchased the car for and it still broke down continuously after all that money spent. I eventually took it to BMW to diagnose and then all was revealed. BMW confirmed for me that parts that I was charged for as per their invoice were not new parts but parts they got from a s****yard/second hand dealer yet they charged me more for the s****yard part than what BMW charged me for a new part. When I called them out on this, they quickly provided me a refund for the part and tried to provide a nonsensical reason for this. The price of this one part alone from them was +/- R 7 000 and they supposedly replaced several other parts at great cost to me yet other recognised professionals say otherwise. My difficulty now is that it is very hard to prove as once its fitted and engine oil etc runs over and through these parts its then difficult to conclusively prove that they simply charged but in fact didn't replace it. To make matters worse, after the full service and replacing lots of parts (as my intention, which was communicated to them, was that my daughter must not get stuck) the car broker down a day or so after coming back from their shop. It had to be towed back to them and I was then told that its a vibration damper that needs replacing. They quoted me an amount of R 5 782.00 for this part but at this stage I was fed up and decided to source this part for myself and guess what - I managed to buy it for R 2 500.00 which I did and took it to them which they fitted without providing me any explanation for the amount they quoted. People - I can go on and on but please - for the safety of your children and families, My advice - STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM DARREN AND SONS. It will be the biggest mistake you ever make in your life. They are cheats and ********** and cannot be trusted at all. You are better off paying that 15% or 20% more for the repair and go straight to BMW themselves as Darren and Sons with their lies and cheating could not just end up costing you more money but could fatally put your family, sons and DAUGHTERS at great risk as their wanting to make an extra quick buck off you could end up leaving your loved ones stranded on the side of a road in the middle of the night and who knows what could happen. And if you go back to them, knowing how they operate, they will try and find some unfounded excuse as to why it snot their fault. PEOPLE - I can't stress enough. NEVER EVEMN CONSIDER USING DARREN AND SONS for any work on any of your vehicles if you want to keep your family safe. They simply cannot be trusted and actually don't give a damn about your or your family's safety.
