Shocked and disgusted

I haven’t app**** for a position at Dante but was asked by one of the recruiters who had my Cv for another position at a travel agency to come in for an interview in recruitment at their Cape Town branch this recruiter was well aware of my experience and the fact that I didn’t have a drivers license as this question was raised. upon my arrival for this interview the branch manager who interviewed me basically explained to me that they don’t recruit for recruitment first there is a process and you start off as a receptionist/PA with minimum wage which is not what I was told the manager then went on asking me about my kids ages etc and made the statement “nobody in our office has kids as I’m very strict on that only 1 person in this office has a small kid” which I thought was a absurd statement to make this wasn’t even the least of it this manager then went on asking me if I had a drivers license when I said no the manager of this branch made the statement that the agency would never recruit someone without a drivers license and what do i do with my kids during the day? Do we just stay home? How do I afford Uber all the time? How can I depend on my husband I don’t even have the access to walk in the mall with my kids or visit a friend basically all in all telling me because I don’t have a license My life is worthless. Then also mentioned that the fact that I don’t have a license will be discussed with the travel agency I app**** at. This was by far the most disgusting interview I’ve ever had and not professional at all. I wouldnt ever imagine or see myself working under someone like that. The manager at Dante personnel need to be trained in minding own business and respectfully conducting professional interviews.
