Complaint Regarding Contaminated Product Consumed by 2-Year-Old
I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding a recent experience with one of your products. On the 11 of February 2024 at 10:46 am, I purchased a package of yogurt from Kwanobuhle Spar. This product was intended for my 2-year-old child to consume as part of their daily diet.
To my dismay, upon opening the package and serving the product to my child, I discovered that it was contaminated with fungus. This was an extremely alarming and upsetting discovery, especially considering the potential health risks associated with consuming contaminated food, particularly for a young child. As a result of that my kid had a runny tummy for days and I have pictures of that.
As a parent, I trust and rely on reputable companies like Danone to provide safe and high-quality products for my family. However, this incident has severely shaken my confidence in your brand. Not only did this situation pose a serious risk to my child's health, but it also resulted in the waste of money spent on a product that was unfit for consumption. You guys called me (16 FEBRUARY 2024) after I complained to the shop and said you will get back to me up until to day I never received your call, negligence to the highest level. I urge you to take immediate action to investigate this matter and implement measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Additionally, I request a full refund for the purchase of the contaminated product as well as compensation for any expenses that occurred due to this

We do appreciate our consumers and we would never take a case lightly. As advised on the first conversation feedback takes 3/21 working days, as collection also needs to take place. from arranging collection and getting the product to the factory. As promised, we will provide feedback once the factory and the Lab has completed the testing.
