STOCK STILL ON SHELF AFTER EXPIRY DATE HAS PASSED

On the 14th May 2015, i went to the Shoprite Checkers in Verulam on Russom Street and purchased the Ultra Mel delight chocolate and Vanilla. When I went home I noticed that there was water on the top of the container and when I mixed it it was already curdling and spoilt, I did phone the store and speak to a manager there who asked me to come in and change the stock or get a refund. But what I wanted to know is whether your reps that go to the store ever check on stuff like this. I did phone the manager of the store and complain about the product as well....Danone being such a well known product in SA should actually follow up with their reps and so on. I am actually quite appalled at the fact that expired stocks were still sitting on the shelves waiting to be eaten by families....I could have given it to my child first and he would have got food poisoning due to the carelessness of your reps....Even Shoprite being such a recognised company allowed this to happen.....things seriously needs to change in order for this to stop happening in future...I am sure that Danone will not want to lose all their customers due to these sorts of issues......PLEASE WAKE UP!!!
