Poor servive - Highly inaccurate estimate

My vehicle was bumped from behind resulting in damage on the rear bumper and two side panels. My insurance recommended I take vehicle to Danmar Autobody Benoni. Got a quote from them and paid the excess so that they order the parts. Was informed when all parts were on site and booked in my vehicle on 26 Nov 2018 and expected time for the work was 10 Days. Got the following updates from Danmar. 27 Nov 2018 - Vehicle in stripping department. 7 Dec 2018 - Vehicle in repairs 11 Dec 2018 - Vehicle in panel beating 13 Dec 2018 - Vehicle in paint preparation.

Its now Day # 16 and vehicle is still not ready and cannot not even get timelines when they expect to be done with the vehicle. Fully understand that 10 days was an estimate but the work is stretching close to double the expected time. We make decisions based on information we get like the expected time for repairs. Had I been told that it was going to tape approx 20 days would not have booked the vehicle in as it was perfectly working. This has greatly inconvenienced me.
