Bad service

I was in an accident with my vehicle on 31 October 2018. We chose to have my car delivered to Danmar as they were close to home, from what we could see on the web had a good track record and because they were an approved Ford Repairer. Their service wasnt bad on the onset and my husband mostly liased with Fatima. My car a Ford Kuga TDCi Titanium with reg STERIKI GP, was damaged on the left side. Mostly damaged to the front bumper right and left wheel there was very little body damage. You will also see this in the photos We waited 5 weeks and on the Friday we were able to collect my car. However Danmar never disconnected the battery thus my battery was totally damaged. I questioned then about this as surely if a vehicle will be with you for so long you should disconnect the battery as a safeguard. I only received a sms from Tracker the week before for the first time that this was done. Their manager Ivan was accommodating and gave me discount on the excess payment in order to put a new battery in. What also was strange is that the left door electric window switch had apparently burnt out, which was strange to me as there was no damage on the door thus why would they need to disasemble that. Anyway I drove the car to the nearest Supa Quick to have a battery fitted, put diesel in at the garage next door and then tried to drive it home. The dash board lit up like a Christmas Tree and it felt like the car went into a “safe mode” of some sorts. I drove it back to them and they promised to have it checked out by Ford on the Monday. I received a courtesy car from them. So far I wasnt too unhappy. I received my car back the following Friday. It felt fine but there was a sound coming from the tyres which wasnt there before. ( I drove it a very short distance the previous week so would not have heard this) The steering wheel was also very skew. I took it back to them on the Monday and they sent me to Supa Quick to have the alignment redone. Only to be sent back to them as apparently the steering rack was also bent! Why was this not picked up in the initial assesment of the vehicle? I got my car back on Wednesday that same week. However the noise was still there and very loud especially on higher speeds. I took it back to them today. Apparently it is a wheel bearing on one of the damaged wheels! And now they tell me the part can only be delivered on Tuesday!

I am not happy at all! We are in week 7 and I still do not have my car back. It would also seem that their is no standard procedures followed at Danmar. I could understand the first instance where it had to go back but the second and third? Surely someone should be assessing cars properly before the work is qouted on? Surely there should be some set of standard procedures followed to ensure quality work has been done?

I am tired of fighting. And yes I suppose we have been rude as well but we are really at our wits end. We were supposed to go on holiday earlier this week already and they just have a dont care attitude around this
