Daniel Wellington no watch repairs

Why does Daniel Wellington sell their watches in South Africa if they can not offer any after service/repairs? Bought a watch from Menlyn store more or less 25 months ago. Stopped working. Went to Menlyn to have it repaired only to be told that they do not service any of their watches and watch obviously just out of warranty period. Not a cheap watch and even more expensive if only working for 2 years.
