Doesn't pay his employees

<p>After agreeing to assist Daniel in a 4 day shoot in Drakensberg at an agreed rate (he sent me the rate via Whatsapp), he refuses to pay me the amount we agreed apon. In fact, when I started asking for the money a month later (because he said the client will only pay him after 30 days) he actually just kept on ignoring me completely for days, and only rep**** once i threatened to sue him. He uses the excuse that I did not have the necessary gear and didn't work enough hours, although he knew very well which gear I had, and hired my services using that which I had.</p> <p>The agreement never stated anything about the amount of hours I would need to work, and was just a set guaranteed amount for the whole 4 day shoot. I worked whenever he asked me to, and never refused to work. I did all that was asked of me. I feel he is taking full advantage of me, and also of his other assistant. He charges the client extra for 2nd photographers, then keeps that money for himself.</p> <p>Daniel is someone who will smooth talk himself out of any situation and is someone that I will never trust after getting to know him. </p>
