Shale ****ming property woman
I contacted a lady named Shale on Roomies about a room she was renting at Green Bay Eco Estate. From what I understand, she also works at the concierge or as a realtor at the estate. Last week, I paid her a R3,000 deposit to secure the room because I was unable to attend a viewing due to the long distance and some personal circumstances. We agreed that I would move in on Wednesday, 15 July. Today, she suddenly told me that her boyfriend’s (or partner’s) brother is going to be taking the room instead. She then offered to refer me to one of her friends, but I politely declined and asked her to refund my deposit instead. She is now refusing to refund my money and keeps making excuses. I paid that deposit in good faith to secure the room, and since she can no longer provide the accommodation we agreed on, I believe I am entitled to receive my full deposit back. This is my hard-earned money. I even took out a loan to pay the deposit because I didn’t want to lose the room to someone else. I am requesting that my R3,000 deposit be refunded immediately. If this matter is not resolved, I will have no choice but to report it to the police and pursue any other legal avenues available to recover my money.

The place is really dirty
The place is really dirty. There is dog **** and toilet paper that hasn’t been cleaned for almost 3 years. There are ear buds that are stuck in the ground. Nothing gets done when you report to management
