Unauthorized Debits After Campus Closure

I am extremely disappointed with the way Damelin has handled the closure of their Boksburg campus. I was promised face-to-face classes but was forced into remote learning due to their inability to manage class sizes. When the campus was closed in August 2024, none of the options provided were feasible for me, especially as I am unemployed.

Despite communicating my situation and requesting a refund, Damelin continues to debit my account monthly through DebiCheck, causing financial distress and damaging my credit record. Attempts to resolve this have been ignored, and I’ve incurred bank fees from failed debits.

I urge Damelin to cancel the unauthorized debits, issue a refund for the R32,262.70 I’ve already paid, and take accountability for this breach of trust. I would not recommend this institution to anyone.
