<p>In October 2016 I app**** for Diploma in Financial Accounting at Damelin. The consultant i spoke to advised me to apply for Bcom Accounting because i have bookkeeper qualification from Boston College and they will credit me all the modules of which I then I app****. On 19 October 2016 I received my approval letter and then I paid my R500 registration fee. I attended classes which started in February to date. Upon enquiring about my account of which the employer wants to settle, they requested my CV and upon follow up I was informed by Aavishkar Nanan ,Sales Manager of Damelin Menlyn that I do not qualify to study BCOM Accounting but that they will move me to Diploma course of which I feel is highly unacceptable due to the fact that I attended the classes for 2 months and i only informed now after the effort of buying the applicable textbooks and assignments completed that I do not qualify.29 March I contacted Randburg head office with regards to the above matter and they informed me that they do not deal with students and they dropped the call.</p> <p>This is highly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior from such as established institution. Going forward I would not recommend anyone to register at Damelin due to the proven incompetence that was shown by both management and consultants.</p>
