DO NOT COME TO DAMELIN!

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO DAMELIN!???I transferred from Damelin Braamfontein to Damelin Randburg and all I can say is that the branch doesn't matter, they still mess you around. I'm doing my 3rd year and it has been a real struggle working with this college. I first went to Randburg campus early this year to write a test I had missed. When I got there, no room was allocated for me to write in so I enquired at reception as to where I would be writing. They sent me to 6 different people before my query was answered. The lady whose office I was sent to , was absolutely rude and questioned me as to who gave me the right to enter her office instead of helping me. Bare in mind time was going and I needed to write my test but instead she made me wait until she phoned the person who sent me to her office to ask them if I was really sent there. Only once confirmed she sent me to the academic managers office who was literally next door to her! All they do is give you a hard time before they can dispose of you. The next issue I had was when this supplement test was finally marked. The test I wrote did not affect my final mark. I was told by Nobule (Programme coordinator) that the test didn't count, so why did I pay R200+ to write a test I missed that didn't count to my final mark???? I also got my assignment remarked as another lecturer from Braam campus marked my assignment because my transfer has still not been fully processed(It has been 2 years). The assignment that was remarked increased by 20%. This also did not alter my final marks. Are we just studying and doing assignments for nothing? Today I tried to attempt MCQs that my online lecturer said we should have completed by the 30th June but my programme coordinator once again has told me that it is too late to do the MCQs because DP marks have already been calculated. I only found out now that we needed DPs in order to qualify to write our exams. So now I lose out on 10% that would have helped me qualify to write my exam all because there was a lack of communication. I am absolutely frustrated!!! ? Nobody knows what's going on. No messages are not communicated to us. Learners rely on Whatsaap to find out information from their colleagues. Their stuff members are unfriendly and all have stinking attitudes. Damelin is pathetic! DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. I pay 50k a year just to get messed around??? What a joke!
