Damelin College a ****a shop

<p>I attended Damelin Cape Town City Campus in 1998 and completed a Journalism diploma full time. Recently I contacted Damelin because I wanted transcripts and reprint of the diploma. I called Cape Town and I was refferd to their Johannesburg academic department. I was told a gentleman by the name of Andrew is in a possesion of the old files or archive prior to year 2000. I got hold of this gentlemen and he said I must i must email him my details which I did. I followed up with him and he said someone was searching for the information and I must call him the following day. I did call him, to my surprise he was so rude and told me he has reffered my query with call centre. Bare in mind intially I called thecall centre, Cape Town & Durban Office and they all reffered me to this Andrew and I even went to the lenghths to sit with the Academic Manager in the Johannesburg, Braamfontein campus and he said this Andrew is the person to speak to. Now I was confuse why Andrew would take this query to call centre when call centre couldnt do anything. I took the matter with Andrew's Academic Manager, Dawie Thomas, I forwarded him all my communication with Andrew and till to date Dawie hasnt contacted me. I went further to contact the academic department in Durban, still they told when searching with my ID number they cant find anything in their system. They sent me a list of forms to fill, make affidavits and send them graduation pictures and after all this was sent to Damelin they tell me the request has been denied. I paid money to go to this college, I know people who lectured me at this "institution" and I am still in contact with my former class mates. What does one do in this situation when Damelin prides its self as one of the best private colleges in the country.</p>
