Another disappointing day at damelin

At the beginning of 2018 I enrolled at damelin randburg for an ICB course. First issue: I was not told I needed to buy compulsory textbooks which would cost an additional 10 000. Second issue: our class spent at least a month without a lecturer in the first semester (for two subjects), and this semester our lecturer went on maternity leave and our programme coordinator did not even know about it or organise a new lecturer, again for two subjects. This morning a colleague and I went to the accounts office to ask him if we have class today, and he ignored us, walked past us and kept looking at his phone. He's always rude to us anyway. So I was not surprised. I feel like damelin thinks ICB students are a joke. They do not take us seriously. Despite the fact that ICB is well known. I hope ICB doesn't offer courses at damelin anymore so People don't waste anymore money going there. They have made this course so much harder than it needed to be. I spend an extra 5 hours each day doing work we should have done in classzles, because we don't have classes.

People complain about unemployment in south Africa but colleges like damelin make it hard for us to qualify. This course cost 60000 including books, we have been without lecturers many times and our programme coordinator doesn't seem to take us seriously. I wish I never came to this college because our parents pay that college so we can go there and teach ourselves how to do subjects we have never done before.

Deeply disappointed with the lack of care and respect in general at damelin.
